What Can We Do?
There are a few things I didn't touch on (soap pollution, overfishing, stuff like that) that I'll touch on for this. This is how we'll (hopefully) save the ocean.
Waiter, there's Soap in my Ocean!
Soap. Soap seems to be a problem here. It can poison marine animals and pollute the water. But it doesn't have to be a problem, if you pick stuff that's not harmful!
Most organic soaps are fairly good, and you can still smell like lavender at the end of the day. Just make sure they don't have microbeads - that spells trouble.
Overfishing
Overfishing is when we, the species Homo Sapien, take huge nets and scoop up all the fish in one area, and keep doing this until we've met our fish quota. This has the side effect of making some species go extinct, or putting them on the endangered list. Here are some fish to stay away from; you don't want to contribute to this cycle.

Plastic
Ah, ye old Plastic. We meet again, my mortal enemy.
Just kidding. Heh.
Anyway, the most simple solution to the plastic problem would be to reduce, reuse and recycle more. If we stop the flow at its source, then we can pick up the trash, and start the three Rs all over again.
Oil and Ocean Acidification
Oil is pretty easy to fix. You pump it out, help the birds get their feathers clean, and hope the ecosystem returns to normal. It's still a long, grueling process, but it's not as long and grueling as convincing an entire world to give up something or do something.
Ocean acidification is harder to fix. The easiest way would be to reduce our carbon footprint; the less CO2 we put in the air, the less CO2 goes into the water. Other than that, I'm not really sure.
